Yin Yoga

Deep Rest, Release and Renewal

You’re invited to slow down and sink into a deeply nourishing Yin Yoga practice.

Yin Yoga is a gentle, meditative style of yoga where postures are held for longer periods, allowing the body to soften and the mind to become still. This practice targets the deeper connective tissues — fascia, ligaments, joints, and bones — supporting mobility, circulation, and energetic balance.

This session is designed to help you:

  • Release physical and emotional tension
  • Calm the nervous system
  • Improve flexibility and joint health
  • Cultivate mindfulness and inner stillness
  • Create space for deep rest and reflection

Why Yin Yoga is so powerful

In our fast-paced, yang-driven lives, the body is often stuck in doing mode. Yin Yoga invites the opposite — a state of being. By holding poses passively and surrendering into gravity, we give the nervous system permission to downshift from stress into rest and repair.

The science behind Yin

Long-held stretches gently hydrate connective tissue, improving elasticity and joint function. Yin Yoga also stimulates the parasympathetic nervous system, helping to lower cortisol levels, slow the breath, and quiet mental chatter. This makes it especially supportive for stress, anxiety, fatigue, and burnout.

What to expect

The practice will be slow, supported, and accessible to all levels. Props will be used to ensure comfort, and you’ll be guided to listen deeply to your body rather than push or strain.

This is an invitation to pause, soften, and reconnect, not to achieve a pose, but to meet yourself exactly where you are.
